Better Late Than Never, But Never Late Is Better.

First off belated Merry Christmas.

As 2010 comes to a close i thought id recap over the year...

2010 was filled with ups and downs..as i reminisce over all the events that occurred over this past year it definitely has been a journey. so much has happened..here's a list of what i remember most (not in any particular order)..

-VEGAS of course.. probably beat last years trip..
-Getting accepted into San Francisco State University
-Moving out!!!
-Getting to Experience Working a commission based job at Nordstrom San Francisco Center
-All the times hanging out with VJAKITS and FAME
-Getting the chance to experience one of the worlds most memorable moment in history..the GIANTS WINNING THE WORLD SERIES.
-Having the honor of being a godfather to two of the most beautiful girls in the world! Charlie and Dara!
-Tahoe trip...nuff said.
-Disneyland with FAME
-turning 22
-Spontaneous trip to Santa Barbra

Man i feel like so much more happened, but i cant think of off the spot...that doesnt mean it wasnt important it just means im hella tired lol.

BUT over all it was a tough year.
Lost a friend but gained an angel.. RIP Xavier Francisco Haleakale Sizar.

Falling into place.

These past few weeks have been super stressful and way to busy. As you know I am in the process of finding a new job and guess what....I GOT IT!I will be a new Sales Associate at Nordstrom in the San Francisco Center in the department of Men's Sportswear. Im very excited to start something new. Ive been at my current job for a little over 3 YEARS now and its bittersweet leaving. Orientation starts this weekend.

Its crazy enough that i start my new job so quick, but its all happening during FINALS! im supper stressed and i just want to pass all my classes and start my winter break already! i NEED this break. I will definitely make the best of it.

Also I have finally moved out! ive been at my place for about 3 weeks now and its great! I live in Pacifica, CA. its nice because its not to far from anything. Im a 15 minute BART ride from Downtown SF and 10 minute drive from school...definitely beats the 45 min commute i did before! i never got to experience the 'dorm life' nor go to a CSU college. Im glad to be out of community college and im finally moving on. it feels great and i hope there is more to come.

As much as I dislike the biebs this video/song is quite inspiring. I will admit that some and i mean SOME of his songs are good but other than that i can care less for him.

I dont know if this is a 'real' prototype of the "iPhone 5," but if its going to look anything like this...it would be LEGIT. is it worth waiting for? knowing apple it would probably come out sooner than we think!

I just had my phone interview with the Nordstrom at San Francisco Center for the position in THE RAIL department. I have to say that i was pretty nervous considering that the last time i had to do a phone interview was 3 years ago! i believe that i went well because HR had requested that i go in for a group interview on December 1st. So not quite there yet but im hoping for this job. keeping my fingers crossed!

I thought i would blog about my top 3 late night hosts.

I'm so glad that Conan O'Brien is back. He is byfar THEE funniest host to watch on TV. He's hella down to earth and i like the way he sets up his punchlines. Also his commercial leading up to his new season on TBS were HILARIOUS.



All the way back to the old school SNL cast i have always enjoyed watching Jimmy Fallon do comedy. I like the way he has his funny segments like "late night hashtags" and "put it in reverse!"



and lastly i like Jimmy Kimmel for his concert series.

I've always wanted a pair of Radii shoes and i finally bought my first pair today. The best thing was that it was on SALE! i am an avid bargain shopper when it comes to shopping online. I am subscribed to a few websites that email me when a sale is going on and this time i got lucky. I usually just over look the emails, but once i saw the word SALE and RADII in one line i immediately hopped on my computer and browsed the selection. Perfect timing because i got what i was looking for.

What happened...i cant remember..

So i cant honestly say Halloween 2010 was...no words can describe.

my friends and i went to A Nightmare on Van Ness and far east movement was performing...the only thing was that i was too inebriated and gone that i didnt even get to see them!!! or else i just dont remember...thats how bad it was. i did however get to see cali swag district..although it was a bit blurry..

i did learn my lesson tho ... dont get to wasted before the concert starts.. lol.

World Series Baby!

Definitely an exciting 6th game...i have been a giants fan since i was a kid. although my very first baseball game was an A's game my heart was always with the giants. it aint even about bandwagon...ive always rooted for the giants...i was born in SF for cryin out loud! i may not talk about sports all the time, but that doesnt mean anything. Anyways. world series here we come!

Fresh start.

This summer has definitely been good to me. first of all money SUCKS. but it was all worth the spending.
This tuesday i start my first semester at SFSU! hella crazy...time goes by so fast. i cant wait to meet new people and just be in the city. I dont want to sound like im hella hyping it up, but this is big for me. Although ive heard many different things about SFSU i am a believer that "college is what you make of it."
Ive been looking and looking for a place to live at in SF and i have yet to find a place. Today i actually went to the city to view a place with my friend/future roommate Lauren and this place was super SMALL and was definitely not worth it. Gotta keep looking and keep my fingers crossed.

Lately ive been feeling very anxious and having this knot feeling in my stomach...i dont know what it is but i just feel like everything is finally happening now. there are so many things that i want to do and i want that 'instant gratification' but we all know that things dont happen just like that. patience, patience, patience. Things will fall into place and come at the right time.

I really am torn between the iPhone4 (white) or the Blackberry Bold 9700. In December before i got the iPhone 3GS i tried out the Blackberry Bold for about a week or so and i loved it, but then i went back to the iPhone and i loved it too. I want to go to a bb now because this is my theory...

Not everyone has the iPhone4, and with Facetime only being able to work on WiFi whats the point? and if not that many people have the 4 then theres not much facetiming. With the blackberry at least i can wait till most people get the iPhone and facetime becomes even more legit on 3G. Although there are more features that the iPhone4 has like taking HD videos and editing with a 5megapix camera...i can wait and with the white iPhone being pushed back so many times who actually know when that will come out..if anything i think id wait for verizon? I dont know. any thoughts?

Just another day in SF.

This past weekend i had an awesome time in SF with my friends. We attempted to go to Outside Lands to see Kings of Leon but it was a fail. We had so many ideas running through our minds to try and sneak in and we came up with some really ridiculous ideas. The day ended up becoming somewhat of a shopping/chill day. We went to Marc by Marc where there was this killer duffel bag that retailed for $1750...one day.



Then as the day progressed we went to Alamo Park off Fulton and Steiner. Chill and fun day out. Weather was somewhat perfect but then it got windy and cold. I wish Krystle and Sophia could have made it so it could be the complete VJAKITS

Inspired.

Lately I've been feeling inspired. I feel like now that I'm starting a new school i need to re-evaluate my life. The major i got accepted with into SFSU was Industrial Design-Product Development. I really am interested in the whole Marketing aspect of it as well as Public Relations. I feel that I'm too far into my major to change it and I'm just ready to graduate.
I got inspired by this video (below) that was shown to me by a friend of mine (Shorteey) and the artist's name is Steven Lopez. After watching such an inspirational video it got me thinking...'Why haven't i picked up a paintbrush this whole summer!?' its definitely time i start making a portfolio to show off and build. I can't wait to see what i can come up with and what i can create. Its been a while since I've drawn or done any paintings.



Another inspiration i had was to cut my hair...Lately I've been so tired of my faux hawk that i thought i needed a change. its not so much of a big change but i kinda like it..any thoughts? the photo that got me inspired for my haircut was Jake Gyllenhaal on the cover of GQ May 2010 issue.








..and the Jersey Shore episode tonight got me laughin out loud.

Tahoe trip August 2010

Long weekend but definitely worth it. happy birthday Jul!

The weekend started off super sunny and chill weather. We started off with margaritas and got totally wasted and trashed. LOL and 4 people killed a bottle of Jose. Me, Jul, Melissa, and Jen were the first ones to arrive. We could not help but start the weekend off right. The drive up was not so bad.

The 3 best friends that anyone can have tagged along..



Around midnight everyone else arrives and because we drank earlier we were all hungover hahaha on the same night! We chilled then knocked out.

The next day we all went to Pope Beach...it was my first time here.

After the beach the fun began. We all ate dinner together and everyone pitched in too cook something. We then crack open the bottles of Jaeger and Vodka....the vodka was split only between 2 people Lauren and me. Lets just say it got blurry after half the bottle was gone..but anyways.. we definitely all had a great time. We all felt safe and we didnt have to worry about being too crazy. Sunday: we all went to the lake to jetskii and kayak. It was weird because the weather started to change slowly and it rained/snowed in some areas.. wish i took pics...id like to say that we all got home safely, but during the ride home the other care got into an accident..but everyone is alright and no one was hurt..we were so close to home too!
